D.S. Research Centre launched its CSR unit CCC (Council for Cancer Care) on 2nd February 2012. CCC is formed by the cancer survivors from all over India who has been benefitted by the treatment of D.S. Research Centre.
The main motive behind forming Council for Cancer Care is to spread the awareness regarding cancer at each and every doorstep. Apart from this, following initiatives are also been taken by the Council for Cancer Care members:
1. Spreading awareness mainly to the remotest areas of India, where people are unaware of cancer and its deadly effect or have some wrong notions against this disease and also guide them regarding the available treatments to fight cancer.
2. Conducting free cancer detection camps in the rural areas of India.
3. Spreading the knowledge regarding the benefits of the alternative treatment of cancer i.e. Ayurvedic treatment.
4. Giving motivation and moral support to the patients in order to bring them back to the normal life and help them fight this deadly disease.
5. Help the needy patients by suggesting them a low-budget treatment thus helping them out financially as much s it can be possible.
6. Organizing various seminars, awareness drives regarding cancer and ways to prevent it.
D. S. Research Center, a premier research institute developing treatments through the Science of Nutrient Energy based on Ancient Ayurveda across India along with Council for Cancer Care, will organize a special drive on general cancer awareness and detection camp (mainly cervical cancer detection for women through colposcope) at Mysore with the help of Sri Ramakrishna Seva Sangha® on 9th and 10th of February 2013 at Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra, Dakshineshwara Marga, Ramkrishna Nagar, Mysore-570022, time 10:30 am to 5:30pm.
