Launching the Audio and Video cassette in Bangalore today along with Sri Siddaramaiah, Leader of Opposition, T B Jayachandra Dy.Leader in the Assembly, Sri S R Patil Leader of Opposition, Sri R V Venkatesh, Whip of Opposition in the Council and Sri Veranna Mathikatti, Convener of Congress Campaign Committee. State Congress President Dr. G. Parameshwara, said that the Congress Government was committed to provide “Clean Governance and Able Leadership” to the citizens of Karnataka.
Addressing the Media Dr. Parmeshwara also said that time was ripe now for the people of Karnataka to bring in a Change, as the present Government had failed in meeting the aspirations of the People of Karnataka, and hoped that they would usher this Change by voting Congress to power.
Dr. Parameshwara remembering Late Sri Rajiv Gandhi for bringing in the IT Revolution in the country, he said that the party was committed in adapting modern technology both in the Party and in Governance such that we do not stay behind in the competition of excellence, hence was his initiative to launch the new age media platforms and Congress being the first party to go interactive on Google Hangout.
He further said that Congress Party was confident of getting the blessings of the people of Karnataka this time and the party was committed to putting Karnataka on the Development Track to make it Number One state again in the Country.
He admitted that the Congress party was certainly not happy with the pace development that has taken place in the Agriculture sector, and the Congress party assures the people of Karnataka that it would give top priority to the same ,if voted to
power in the coming elections. He also added that the Congress Party is committed to complete the ongoing irrigation projects within the next five years. Priority shall be in the Krishna Basin to use the Bachawat Award totally.
Reiterating Congress Party’s commitment to empower women socially and economically, they would also strive to bring in entrepreneurial activities for youth both in Urban and Rural areas .
