Kingfisher Premium - the King of Good Times, provided fans with a once in a lifetime opportunity to live their dream at the Kingfisher Bowl Out which kick started here in Hyderabad today. Taking the Cricket frenzy and excitement forward Kingfisher provided 14 lucky fans a chance to bowl to three of their favorite Cricketers from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Cricketers Parthiv Patel, Thisara Perera and Quniton de Kock were seen getting into the batting mode as the 14 winners at the City Centre Mall bowled to them in the only hope to get them out!12 of the winners were selected through contests which took place on ground and online. Two consumers at from the mall were given an opportunity (wild card entry) to participate in the initiative as well. Each contestant was made to bowl three deliveries to either one of the cricketers and stood a chance of winning exciting cash prizes. Depending on which ball they got the Cricketer out, contestants won anywhere between Rs.10,000/- and Rs.50,000/-
The huge crowd which had gathered at the mall went ballistic with each delivery bowled as they were seen cheering both the contestants and the Cricketers alike.
An excited fan was also seen exclaiming, “I am so excited to watch my icons in real. This is probably the closest I have been to them. For the first time, I actually hoped they got out! This is a great initiative by Kingfisher! May the Good Times roll”.
The Cricketers too were seen showcasing their batting skills off the pitch as they faced the deliveries. One of the Cricketer said, “It is fun and exciting to be here at the Kingfisher Bowl Out event as it gives us an opportunity to get closer to the fans. It was fun facing the deliveries and we were surprised to see a few of them bowl very well. It is a different pitch all together but double the fun”.
Kingfisher Bowl Out has received an overwhelming response with more than 5000 entries from across the platforms. The activity was promoted both on-ground at points of sale as well as through a high decibel online campaign. The ‘Bowl Out’ is taking place across 6 cities to which Kingfisher is the ‘Good Times’ partner- Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur and Chandigarh.
