Taxsmile guides the tax payer through the entire process step-by-step. The application has an in-built calculator and tool that facilitates filers to calculate and fill the e-Return efficiently. On completion of filling, the user can either use a digital signature certificate to sign and submit the Income Tax Return or directly submit and take a printout of ITR V form which can then be signed and dispatched to the CPC of Income Tax department in Bangalore. Digital Signature Certificate is a highly secured PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) based technology that is provided by Licensed Certifying Authorities like eMudhra under the Information Technology Act. These signatures also have the same legal status as a physical signature.
