BMS College of Engineering celebrated Engineer’s Day in Bangalore

 BMS College of Engineering celebrated Engineer’s Day
BMS College of Engineering celebrated Engineer’s Day to observe Sri. M. Visvesvaraya’s 153rd birth anniversary at BMS campus recently. Dr. U. Chandrashekar, Additional Director & Scientist-G, GTRE, DRDO, Bengaluru, was the chief guest for the day.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. U. Chandrashekar, Additional Director & Scientist-G, GTRE, DRDO, said, “Engineer’s Day must be a platform to demonstrate the students’ projects.” He further added. “Engineers should be curious and try to go to the depth of the problems and resolve the problems as early as possible.” He also felicitated the best projects of various departments.
Dr. K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Principal, BMS College of Engineering emphasised on how to manage time to achieve goals. He also advised the students to take Sri. Visvesvaraya as their source of inspiration and contribute in building the nation.
Dayananda Pai, Chairman, BOG, BMSCE & Trustee for BMSET, Dr. B. S. Ragini Narayan, Donar Trustee& Member Secretary, BMSET, Dr.K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Principal, BMSCE and Dr. G. N. Shekar, Vice Principal, BMSCE were present on the occasion. Students, who excelled in several competitions, were given prizes at the event.

The B. M. Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering - one of the most reputed engineering colleges in Bangalore, Karnataka, India was founded in 1946.
