Women safety Awareness Programme by students in Bangalore

Women safety Awareness Programme by students in Bangalore
A crowd gathered in front of the Mota Royal Arcade, Brigade Road and this time the reason was to smile at, but definitely not the cause.
The students of The Frank Anthony Public School {8th – 12th Standard} representing The Interact Club, affiliated to the Rotary Club organised a Flash Mob to spread awareness for 'The Safety for Women'. These students, 70 in number gained the attention of the public by their spectacular performance in a Flash Mob.
Immediately after their dance, they gave out a little speech once in Hindi and then in English. In their speech, they spoke about Indian men outnumbering women due to abortion, about how the women suffer from abuse and violence.
They also requested and pleaded the men to change their mentality and the way they look at the Feminine gender and also told them not to judge a girl by what she wears.
The students held out banners with different sayings and walked through brigade road.
They carried out this campaign in order to instil confidence in the women out there. It was a successful attempt by the members of The Interact Club of the The Frank Anthony Public School with genuine support from the Principal of their school Mr K.V. Boye to spread awareness for 'Safety for Women'.
