Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest Loksabha elections from as many seats as possible in as many states as possible
The Aam Aadmi Party today announced that it will contest the upcoming Loksabha elections from maximum number of seats. At a press conference held today, party leaders Mr. Prashant Bhushan and Mr. Sanjay Singh said that within the next month, the party will announce names of most of its candidates. They said that their party will contest elections on issues faced by the common man.

A two day meeting of the National Executive committee of the Aam Aadmi Party began today in Delhi. On the first day of the meeting, various issues related to contesting Loksabha elections were evaluated. Mr. Prashant Bhushan said that the Aam Aadmi party has emerged as a big wave of energy across the country.
The whole country had lost all hope of finding an alternative to corrupt politics, but now people of this country have found that not only can our party give an honest government, but it is also a movement for alternative politics.

Talking to the pressmen at the conference, Mr. Prashant Bhushan said that the party has decided that it will contest Loksabha elections from as many seats as possible in as many states as possible.

At the press conference, Mr. Sanjay Singh said that representatives of different states were participating in the National Executive meeting. Every state is full of tremendous excitement and people are joining the party in large numbers. He said that within the next month, the party will identify the Loksabha seats it will contest from. Mr. Sanjay Singh also said that people were applying for candidature in large numbers in all states, but the process of selection of candidates will be the same as it was in Delhi. He reiterated the party’s stance of not issuing tickets to anyone with a criminal image. Talking about the agenda for the second day of the meeting, he said that a framework for preparation of election campaign will be put in place.
