Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Indian Newspaper Society begins tomorrow

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) tomorrow (February 27, 2014) at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

The INS was born as the Indian and Eastern Newspaper Society on February 27, 1939 in New Delhi with 14 founders. It has now more than 1,000 members who have publications in 19 languages with a combined circulation of 71 million copies.
