 The world is watching the coming elections in India with great interest. The largest democracy of the world, with an electoral strength of 81.45 crores (814.5 million), goes to the polls in 9 phases from 7th April, 2014 to 12th May, 2014. Voting will take place in 543 parliamentary constituencies.
