Leading IT services provider Mphasis today announced the successful adoption of an energy saving, carbon reduction solution called the Enthalpy Free Cooling solution developed by ConnectM Technology Solutions. The solution has been implemented in several of the Mphasis facilities across Bangalore and Pune.
The Enthalpy Free Cooling solution is effective in reducing energy spends on the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system which is one of the major energy consuming asset in any building.Thestep by Mphasis and ConnectM Technology is possibly the first working adoption of the solution retrofitted successfully in an already functional building in India.
“We have implemented this solution in our facilities and have observed a substantial reduction in our energy costs (20-25%) towards air conditioning with an added benefits towards Employee Health and Safety (EHS) interms of reduced levels of CO2 within the premises. This is part of our larger road map towards being sustainable and reduce carbon foot print” said Sridhar Raghavendra, Global head of facilities, Mphasis.
