SMERA Ratings Ltd, a joint venture between SIDBI, Dun & Bradstreet and leading public and private sector banks announced the appointment of Sankar Chakraborti, as the new CEO of the company. Mr. Chakraborti succeeds Mr. Parag Patki who stepped down as CEO effective July 14, 2014.

Talking about his new role Chakraborti said, “I am delighted to assume this leadership role and I want to thank Parag for his guidance and support." Previously Chakraborti was the Director – Business Development, CRISIL Rating.
