Following the BJP central election committee meeting in New Delhi yesterday party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed their desire to hold fresh elections in Delhi. An announcement in this regard is expected within next 24 hrs.
The central leadership of the BJP is positive of winning a comfortable majority in Delhi, courtesy the stellar performance in the Lok Sabha and state elections, coupled with the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The recent cuts in fuel prices, campaigns launched by the PM and even the treatment meted out to Pakistan when it violated the ceasefire (in Jammu and Kashmir) will go in favour of BJP to secure Delhi Assembly as per the internal assessment of the party top brass.
