Kishore-Biyani led Future Group has tied up with Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda and would be selling Patanjali products ranging from nutrition and supplements, grocery, medicines, cosmetics, etc. at its popular supermarket chains Big Bazaar, KB's and EasyDay outlets.
Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda is launching its own brand of instant noodles on October 15th and it would be available across India by the end of this month.Patanjali is also planning to launch products like pasta, oats, juices, muesli soon.With an annual revenue of over Rs 2,500 crore in the FY15 Patanjali Ayurveda is the fastest growing FMCG company in India according to Investment Banking Company CLSA and is targeting to achieve Rs 5,000 crore turnover this fiscal.
Biyani has said the group is eyeing Rs 1,000 crore business over a period of next 20 months from the sale of Patanjali products.'Future group's could end up with the revenue of Rs 22,000 crore to 23,000 crore this fiscal and would continue to have 20-25 per cent increase in revenue', said Kishore Biyani.
