Fujifilm Super-Six 2009 Series of Photo Exhibition launched in Bangalore
Fujifilm Super-six Photo Exhibition is an annual endeavor by Jindal Photo, the leading player in photographic products, to provide a platform to eminent photographers to showcase their works on variety of topics. Jindal Photo Limited, the marketing and distributing company of Fujifilm in India and the leader in photographic products, inaugurated the exhibition of its annual Super-Six Series today. This is the first exhibition in the 2009 series, which showcases the works of six renowned landscape photographers. It has been six years now since Jindal Photo has been organizing the Fujifilm Super six Photo Exhibition. The exhibition at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Art Complex, Kumara Krupa Road, Bangalore-560001is being unveiled today by renowned wildlife photographer Mr. Gul H Gulrajani The 5 day long exhibition which runs through 13th to 17th May, 2009, would be open for the visitors from 11.30am to 7.30 pm daily. On view are select photographs taken by Fujifilm Super six’09 photographers Mahesh Nair, Matt Brandon, Prabir Purkayastha, Somesh Goyal, Soumitra Dutta and Balan Madhavan. All these photographers in the landscape category have captured images in its most true form. The uniqueness of Fujifilm Super-six 2009 series is the tribute by Jindal Photo to the contribution of imminent landscape photographers whose insight goes beyond the realm of superficial, and whose outlook yearn for a long forgotten beauty – the beauty of nature. The theme for this years’ exhibition is doubly significant because of its message concerning nature conservation. The uniqueness of Fujifilm Super-six 2009 series is the tribute by Jindal Photo to the contribution of imminent Landscape photographers whose insight goes beyond the realm of superficial, and whose outlook yearn for a long forgotten beauty – the beauty of nature. The theme of this years’ exhibition also dwells on the threat of extinction faced by our natural resources and endeavors to create awareness about natural heritage.
