ManageEngine awarded the winning team a 1000 USD Amazon gift card for getting the maximum comments on their nomination. The second and third place is awarded to the team Chen, Arif, Dave, DJ and Carl from Reading Room, and Tony Ramirez from Foothill Christian School, respectively. The second place winner received a Foosball table and third place winner an iPad.
As the person responsible for nominating Team FCOOS, Sandeep Athiyarath received a 100 USD Amazon gift card.
The contest winners were determined based on the number of ‘Thanks’ they received in their comment box or the most number of clicks on their ‘Like’ button. Team FCOOS had the most comments — 159 —on their wall, with colleagues and customers alike nominating them as their favorite sysadmins.
“Time to Say Thank You” was created to honor sysadmins around the world for their hard work, which ensures the rest of the organization runs smoothly and without interruption — even though the sysadmins themselves are often overlooked for their efforts.
This year’s content was held as part of the 14th annual System Administrator Appreciation Day on Friday, July 26, 2013. ManageEngine received 221 nominations from teams and individuals around the world.
