Anand Sundaresan elected as the President of Employers Federation of Southern India (EFSI)

Employers Federation of Southern India (EFSI), a representative body for the Employers in the country has elected Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, SCHWING Stetter India – as President of the EFSI today during its 94th AGM. As a part of his new role, Mr. Sundaresan will be responsible for implementing progressive initiatives towards further improving employer – employee relationship.  Mr.Sundaresan takes over from Mr.Ramesh Datla – Managing Director of ELICO Limited.  Mr.A.S.Girish, Head HR, Apollo Tyres Ltd. was elected as Vice President of EFSI for the year 2014-15.

On being appointed as President of EFSI, Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, SCHWING Stetter India Pvt.Ltd, said “The new government in the centre focusing on policy reforms will create huge employment opportunities, similarly in Southern India and Tamilnadu in particular, where the government is under-taking various development and infrastructure improvement initiatives, with emphasis on employee welfare.  EFSI will play a very important role in improving employer – employee relationship in Southern India.”
